Harry McKinney died at 3 o'clock yesterday morning, after a long and painful illness, at his home, No. 426 Third avenue. He was taken ill with consumption nearly four months ago and continued to fail rapidly until death relieved him of his sufferings. Deceased was born in Lancaster, January 23, 1865, and was consequently aged 26 years, 2 months and 5 days. In 1888 he was married and is survived by his wife and one child. Besides these he leaves to mourn their loss two brothers and three sisters living in Lancaster county. They are: George, John, Alice, Gail, and Annie McKinney. For two years he had been employed as a blacksmith in the lower shops and was a competent workman, being well liked by his employers and fellow workmen. Deceased was a member of the Knights of Malta; lodge 253, Knights of Pythias; Hancock castle No. 124, Knights of the Mystic Chain, and Elmo castle No. 54, Knights of the Golden Eagle. The funeral will take place to-morrow afternoon, leaving the late residence at 2 o'clock to proceed to the Second United Brethren church, where services will be held. Interment in Fairview cemetery.
