MRS. JOHN P. McKNIGHT

  At her home in Antis township, at 12:40 o'clock Monday morning, Grace 
Matilda, wife of John P. McKnight, died of a complication of diseases.  Mrs. 
McKnight, whose maiden name was Hagerty, was born January 17, 1840.  She was 
married June 23, 1874, to John P. McKnight, who survives here, with three of 
the four children born to them - Miss Mary, at home; Major John R. McKnight, 
an army surgeon, of Chicago; Garfield, of Toronto, Canada.  All were present 
when death claimed their mother.  Mrs. McKnight was a faithful member of 
Logan Valley Baptist church at Bellwood.
  Funeral service will be conducted by her pastor, Rev. Charles Embrey, at 
her late home at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon.  Interment in Fairview cemetery, 
Altoona.
