She was born April 23, 1890, in Wilmerding, the daughter of J. Emory and Minnie O. (Miles) McGowan, and June 12, 1913, in Ebensburg, married Clark McLanahan, who died May 12, 1960. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Nickol of Hollidaysburg. Mrs. McLanahan was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Tyrone; Hannah Huston Sunday School class and United Methodist Women. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday in the Getz & Searer Funeral Home, Tyrone. McLANAHAN - Services for Elizabeth McLanahan of 1110 Clay Ave., Tyrone, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Getz & Searer Funeral Home, Tyrone, by the Rev. W. Sherwood Thomas. Interment in Eastlawn Cemetery, Tyrone. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. until time of services Monday in the funeral home. In addition to her daughter, Mrs. William A. (Mildred) Nickol, she is survived by a niece, Mrs. Ed (Gene) Worrest of Lancaster.
