MISS CATHARINE McLAUGHLIN

  Died at 7:55 o'clock this morning, at the home of her nephew, James 
Paisley, 1627 Second avenue, of a complication of diseases incident to old 
age.  Miss McLaughlin was born in New York city sixty-nine years ago and was 
brought to Hollidaysburg by her parents when a child.  She lived continuously 
in Hollidaysburg ever since, until last October, when, on account of failing 
health, she was brought to the home of her nephew in this city.  She was a 
dressmaker by occupation.  She enjoyed a wide acquaintance and had many 
friends in Hollidaysburg.  She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Mary Paisley, 
of this city, and a half-brother, D. McCaulley, of Dayton, Ohio.  The funeral 
will leave the house at 7:30 o'clock on Monday morning to take the 8:05 train 
to Hollidaysburg.  Requiem mass will be celebrated in St. Mary's Catholic 
church in Hollidaysburg, after which interment will be made in St. Mary's 
cemetery.
