He was born March 20, 1879, in Juniata and had been employed at the Pennsy green houses. He was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic church congregation and of the Pennsy Relief association. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Mrs. Jane and Patrick Mulhern, and three brothers and four sisters: William, with Company E, 21st engineers in France, Mrs. Clara Butterbaugh of Pittsburgh, Charles, John, Mrs. Mary Killinger and Mrs. Cecelia Mathes of Juniata, and one sister, Miss Rose McMahan at home, who recently returned from France where she served as a nurse. The funeral will be held on Monday morning at 9 o'clock at the Holy Rosary church. Interment will be made in St. John's cemetery. Altoona Mirror, Altoona, Pa., Friday, June 6, 1919
