McMaster, of Box 115, Valley Forge, and for the past 18 months a guest at the Phoenixville Manor Nursing Home, Phoenixville, died at the nursing home Wednesday, at 10:08 p.m. following an extended illness. He was born July 22, 1886, at Martinsburg, the son of Thomas H. and Justina (Yahner) McMaster. He was married to Mary C. Tolan on Sept. 14, 1910, at St. Matthew Roman Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, also a guest at Phoenixville Manor Nursing Home; two sons, Joseph Bernard McMaster, of Cokeysville, Md., and Gerald T. McMaster, of Valley Forge; two granddaughters, Lynne and Mary Jo, of Cokeysville, Md., and two great grandchildren. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Philadelphia and of The Engineers Club of Philadelphia. He retired in 1954, from the Pennsylvania Railroad as Philadelphia Area Account Agent. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Matthew Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. John Sasway as celebrant. Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends will be received at the Getz and Searer Funeral Home today from 7 to 9 p.m. The Rosary will be said al 8 p.m. Tyrone Daily Herald, Tyrone, Pa., January 6, 1978
