McMaster, a former well known resident of Taylor township, died at his home in Carrolltown, Cambria county, Tuesday forenoon at 10.55 o'clock, following a brief illness of pneumonia. He was confined to his bed less than a week. Thomas McMaster was the son of Francis and Mary Nolan McMaster, both deceased, and was born in Bedford county February 9, 1855, being aged 65 years. The greater part of his life was spent on the farm in Blair county and he was well known in this community. A number of years ago he moved to Cambria county where he since resided. Surviving are his wife, Justina Yahner McMaster, and the following sons and daughters: Stephen E., assistant trainmaster on the Middle division; Albert P., P. R. R. agent at Smock, Pa.; A. F., of Wichita, Kansas; Raymond A., Seattle, Wash., and Miss Martha, a nurse in Mercy hospital at Johnstown. The following brothers and sisters also survive: John, of Hilltop; Lewis, Duncansville; Misses Kate, Ellen and Annie, of Newry. Mr. McMaster was a member of St. Benedict's Catholic church of Carrolltown, where the funeral mass will be celebrated this Friday morning at 9 o'clock.
