McMASTERS

  Jerome McMasters died at his home at the Mines on Monday morning at 
10.30 o'clock after a year's illness from diabetes.  He was the son of 
Alexander and Rebecca McMasters and was born at Mines, June 13, 1854.  
He is survived by two children, Mrs. Mary Greenwood of Altoona and Mrs. 
John Leonard of Mines.  These brothers and sisters also are left to 
mourn his death: Jacob McMasters of Loop, James and Mrs. Sarah Otto of 
Mines, Mrs. Rebecca Reed of Hollidaysburg, Mrs. Louisa Kephart of 
Altoona, Mrs. Isabella Wessel of Freeport, Ill.  Private funeral 
services will be held at the home at 11 o'clock this morning.  
Interment in Spring Hope cemetery, Martinsburg.
