HOLLIDAYSBURG HAPPENINGS.
DEATH OF MRS. ELIZA McMILLAN.

  Mrs. Eliza McMillan died at her residence on Front street between 
Allegheny and Walnut, between 9 and 10 o'clock yesterday morning, and 
will be buried in the Lutheran cemetery at 4 o'clock this (Saturday) 
afternoon.  Aunty McMillan, as she was familiarly and universally 
called, was born in Huntingdon on the 24th day of October, 1806.  Her 
maiden name was Eliza Brotherline, and after the death of her husband 
devoted almost all her time to the study of homeopathy and electricity, 
and by the knowledge thus gained became a most useful and valuable 
companion to the sick and suffering of our town.  Her death leaves a 
void not easily filled.
