Mrs. Sarah McMullen died on Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock in
Laurelville, Sinking Valley, aged about 80 years.  She was the widow
of Mr. James McMullen, who practiced medicine at Johnstown, and while
on a professional visit to Hollidaysburg was killed near the old weigh
scales, in Gaysport, during the days of the Old Portage railroad, many
years ago, in a railroad accident.  Her sons, John and Frank, residing
in Sinking Valley, and we think a daughter, Mrs. Johnston, living
somewhere in Centre county, survive. her
