SARAH McNELIS Widow of John McNelis, died at her residence, 2031 Washington avenue, at 11.45 o'clock yesterday morning. She was born in St. Augustine, Cambria county, the daughter of Silas M. and Mary Walter Douglass. Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Rose Walter, Altoona; Pfc. Thomas, jr., Homestead, Fla., in the army air corps; Mrs. Pauline Hessler, Ebensburg; Kenneth E., Altoona, and Mrs. Mary Grace Means, and grandson, Thomas C., at home. A daughter, Mrs. Josephine Potts, preceded her in death in 1921. Also surviving are the following sisters and brothers, John J. Douglass, Altoona; Mrs. Rose Kelly, Chest Springs; Mrs. Matilda Krug, Ashville, and eleven grandchildren. She was a member of the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, the Altar society, and the Cathedral guild. Friends are being received at the home. McNELIS - Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Douglass McNelis, 2031 Washington avenue, will be held from the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament Saturday morning at 10.30 o'clock.
