SUSAN McNELIS Mrs. Susan McNelis died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. H. J. Shoffner, 1411 Twenty-first avenue, at 9 o'clock yesterday morning, following complications of diseases. She was born in Utica, N.Y., on July 12, 1832, the daughter of Patrick and Ann Hogan and had resided in this city for many years. Her husband, William McNelis, died 29 years ago. Four children survive: Edward, of the west, H. P., John, and Mrs. Shoffner, of this city, two step-children, Mrs. Belle Warden, of Chest Springs and James McNelis, of Ashville. A sister, Mrs. Margaret Reilly, of Patton and two brothers, Henry Hagan of Dayton, O., and Hugh Hagan, of Gallitzin, also survive. She was a member of the St. John's pro-cathedral, where the funeral will take place tomorrow morning with mass of requiem at 6:30 o'clock. Interment will be made in the cemetery at St. Augustine.
