  Elby, infant son of W. D. and Susan Melcher, died at the parents' home at 
East Altoona at 1 o'clock Saturday afternoon, after a span of life measured 
only by hours.  Funeral service was held at the home last evening and this 
morning the remains were taken to Orbisonia for interment.
