MELLER Aged 65, a native of Altoona and dean of the school of mines at the University of Pittsburgh from 1914 to 1923, died Sunday at Magee hospital, Pittsburgh. During the first World war he serves as a captain in the army air corps. From 1928 until 1938 Dr. Meller headed the bureau of smoke regulation in Pittsburgh, having been a pioneer in planned smoke control there. He served as director of the industrial hygiene foundation of Mellon Institute from 1934, resigning last September because of ill health. Surviving is his widow, Mrs. Mary Alice (Rothrock) Meller. Interment will be made Thursday in Altoona. The body will arrive in the city at 11 o'clock Thursday morning and friends will be received at the N. A. Stevens mortuary until 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon. MELLER - The body of Dr. Harry B.
