Death of Michael Melvin.

  Michael Melvin, of Tenth avenue, between Ninth and Tenth streets, 
died at his residence of consumption, on Saturday night.  Deceased was 
aged 34 years, 3 months and 6 days.  He leaves a wife and many friends 
to mourn their loss.  The funeral will take place from his residence 
this afternoon at 3 o'clock, to proceed to St. John's church.  The 
friends and relatives of the family are respectfully requested to 
attend the funeral.
