He was past 19 years of age, and was employed by the Kier Fire Brick company, at their quarries at Brooks Mills. He is survived by his father and mother and one brother, Earl Mentzer of McKee, three sisters: Mrs. Earl Beegle of McKee and Alma and Olive, at home. Two sisters: Mrs. Beegle and Alma are both lying in a very critical condition with the same disease. Loy will be buried beside his brother in the Vicksburg cemetery, at a time to be announced later.
