Mentzer, of Martinsburg, died at his home in Coraopolis, near Pittsburgh, of pneumonia, at 5.25 o'clock on Wednesday morning. He was in the twenty-ninth year of his age. Four years ago he was united in marriage to Miss Margaret Nimmons, of Economy; to this union, one child, Margaret, was born, who, with her mother, survives. The deceased was engaged for a number of years in running a meat market. At the time of his death, the wife, little daughter, two sisters and the father were seriously ill of the same disease, the latter being in the Emergency hospital in Ambridge. The parents and the following brothers and sisters also survive: Harry, of Hollidaysburg, Charles with the American Expeditionary Force in France, Edwin of Camp Wheeler, Macon, Ga., Homer, Merle and Mrs. Marie Siers, all of Altoona, and John, Grace, Della and Walter, all at home. The remains will be taken to the parental home, Martinsburg, this morning and funeral services will be conducted at the house Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock; interment will be made in the Fairview cemetery, Martinsburg.
