Death of Mrs. Jesse Meredith.

  Mrs. Elizabeth Meredith, wife of Jesse Meredith, died at her late 
residence, 1723 Eleventh avenue, at 12.20 o'clock yesterday afternoon, 
after three months severe suffering from jaundice.  She was aged 65 
years, and leaves to mourn their loss a husband and four children, viz: 
Mrs. George Davis, of West Duluth, Minn.; Mrs. Emma Lindsey, of Duluth, 
Minn., who was called home owing to her mother's illness; William 
Meredith, of Mountaindale, Pa., and Charles Meredith, who resides in 
this city.  Mrs. John Welch, of Harrisburg, and Mrs. Margaret Long, of 
Hannibal, Mo., are sisters of the deceased.  Services will be held at 
the house this evening at 7 o'clock.  The body will then be taken on 
Saturday morning on seashore express to Mill Creek, Huntingdon county, 
for burial.
