MEREDITH Of 519 South Sixteenth street, Tyrone, died at 2.25 o'clock this morning after an extended illness. She was born at Curtin, Centre County, Dec. 12, 1876, a daughter of Elijah and Mary (Colabine) Hampton. She was married Sept. 25, 1895, to David H. Meredith by Rev. R. H. Gilbert, sr. Surviving are her husband and these children: Mrs. Clair Turnbaugh, Robert K., Joseph G., Helen E., Mrs. Raymond Faust and Mrs. Karl Getz. all of Tyrone, and Howard L. of Buffalo, N.Y.; 22 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Five children preceded her in death. Mrs. Meredith was a member of the First Presbyterian church of Tyrone, the Chapel Sunday school class, the Tyrone chapter of the Order of Eastern Star, the Rebekah lodge and the Ladies' auxiliary of the American Legion, Howard Gardner post, Tyrone.
