  Joseph Metzlar, a veteran of the Civil War, died at his home in 
Duncansville, on Friday afternoon at 4, aged 60 years. He is survived 
by these children: Mrs. Zimmerman, William and James, of Duncansville; 
Mrs. Agnes Colbert, of Lancaster, N. Y.; Era, of Bellefonte, and 
Myrtle, of Unionville, Pa.  He is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. A. 
G. Vaughn and Mary Fry, of Glasgow. Interment was made Sunday in the 
Lutheran cemetery at Newry.
