Mrs. Sarah Isabelle Metzler, a highly esteemed woman of Hollidaysburg, died yesterday morning at 3.35 at her home 109 Canal street, Hollidaysburg, of pneumonia, following an attack of influenza. The deceased was a daughter of Joseph and Katherine Barnett, both deceased, and was born at Saxton, Pa., Sept. 21, 1868, being aged 50 years. She was a consistent member of the Methodist church of Hollidaysburg and was a fine Christian woman. She is survived by the following children: Joseph B., Virn, both of Hollidaysburg, and Ralph at home; Mrs. William Lightner of Gaysport; also by the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. George Langam of Girard, O., Mrs. Frank Sharp of Marietta, Pa.; John Barnett of Hollidaysburg; Frank Barnett of Somerset and James Barnett of Sandy Ridge. The funeral services will be held at her late home Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be made in the Presbyterian cemetery. Both service and interment will be private.
