Says the Tyrone correspondent of the Tribune of today: Yesterday morning at 5 o'clock George Fuoss found the drowned remains of Miss Carrie, youngest daughter of James Meyers, deceased, near her home at Fuoss's Mill in lower Antis township. She had been for the past two weeks suffering with a severe attack of typhoid fever and no doctor was called until a day or so ago. It is supposed that during the night in her frenzy of brain she eluded the vigilant watch of her nurse and made for the stream in which she was found dead. She was aged about 26 years, and leaves an aged mother and three sisters - Mrs. Hutton, of Osceola; Cynthia, who has a home with her mother, and Mary, who has made her home with the family of John K. Ray in this place for many years; also an aged grandmother, Rachel Hillard, now in her 90th year. The sympathy of the community is extended to them in this the hour of their great affliction. Funeral services will be held at her late home this afternoon at 3 o'clock. Interment to follow in Mount Zion cemetery. Altoona Mirror, Altoona, Pa., Monday Evening, May 29, 1893
