CHARLES L. MICKLE

Of 120 5th Ave., died at 4:15 a.m, today, Oct. 22, 1969, in Geisinger 
Hospital, Danville, after a brief illness. He was born in Lincoln Twp., 
Bedford County, Oct. 9, 1899, a son of Ira O. & Rebecca (Ling) Mickle and on 
Sept. 9, 1925, in Cumberland, MD married Ella Mae Roddy. Surviving are his 
wife, eight children, Harold & Darryll of Alum Bank; Bernard D. of 
Lancaster; Ronald A., James R., Wayne A., Thomas M., & Mrs. Cheryl Macak all 
of Altoona; 17 grandchildren, and 2 brothers & a sister, Albert I., of 
Johnstown; Glenn E. of Lakemont; & Mrs. Margaret Daughenbaugh of Altoona. 
Mr. Mickle was a retired service station operator. Friends will be received 
in the Bigelow Funeral Home from 2 to 4 p.m. & 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
