MILES - February 23, in Antistown, Miss Alice Miles, aged 20 years, 4
months and 18 days.

DIED:

MILES - On Monday, February 22d, 1875, in Antis-town, Miss Alice
Miles, aged 20 years, 4 months and 18 days.

It has pleased God in his infinite wisdom to remove from our midst, by
death, Miss Alice Miles to as we believe, a brighter and happier
existence; and that in her death society, the family, the Sunday-
school, and the church have lost a faithful and exemplary member in
every respect.  The funeral took place from the parent's residence
yesterday morning at ten o'clock.  Rev. Mr. Dixon, pastor of the M. E.
Church at Bell's Mills, (of which she was a member) preached a funeral
sermon in the Presbyterian Church to a crowded house.  The parents
have our sympathy in this their sad hour of bereavement. - A FRIEND.
