Harry Graffius Miles died at the home of his sister, Mrs. William W. Updyke, Saturday morning at 8.55 o'clock, from a complication of diseases with which he had been afflicted for over a year. His condition had been serious for the past four weeks. The young man was a son of John and Martha Miles, and was born here on June 19, 1885, and lived in Tyrone all his life. Of late years he had been employed in the East Tyrone car repair shops. His father died sixteen years ago. Besides his aged mother, he leaves these brothers and sisters: Harvey M. Miles, of Indianapolis, Ind.; Mrs. Harry Stonebraker, of Harrisburg; Mrs. David Silknetter, of Akron, O.; Albert H., Charles M., John M. Miles and Mrs. William Updyke, all of Tyrone. He attended the Methodist Episcopal church. Funeral services will be held from the Updyke home, on West Sixteenth street, this morning at 10:30 o'clock, in charge of Rev. M. S. Derstine, pastor of Columbia Avenue Methodist Episcopal church. Interment will be made in Grand View cemetery. Altoona Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Monday Morning, February 19, 1917
