MILES DIES OF HER INJURIES Victim of Trolley Accident Fortnight Ago Succumbs at Altoona Hospital Mrs. Margaret Miles, of Charlottesville, wife of Elias Miles, deceased, died at the Altoona hospital last evening at 10.35 o'clock, as a result of injuries sustained in a collision of two Altoona & Logan Valley electric cars near Fuoss Mills at noon Saturday, January 13. She was admitted to the institution on January 20, and was found to have suffered body contusions and a fracture of the nose. For a time her condition appeared favorable, and not until yesterday was any grave fear as to her recovery entertained. She was born at Shaver's Creek, Huntingdon county, on July 28, 1869, and married Elias Miles shortly after coming to Blair county. He died in 1900. She was a devout Christian woman, and a faithful worker and attendant of the Grazierville Methodist Episcopal church, for a time being superintendent of the Sunday school. Surviving are one son, William Ira Miles, of this city, and two daughters, Mrs. Grace Waite, of Grazierville, and Mrs. Clifford Markel, of Charlottesville, at whose home deceased resided. Funeral arrangements are not as yet made. The body will be removed to the Charlottesville home this morning, interment in the Charlottesville cemetery later. Altoona Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Monday Morning, January 29, 1917 Funeral Notice. The funeral of Mrs. Margaret Miles, notice of whose death appeared in yesterday's Tribune, will take place on Wednesday afternoon. The body was taken yesterday to the rooms of Funeral Director G. E. Fuoss, of Bellwood, and this morning at 9 o'clock will be removed to her late home at Charlottesville. Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, service will be held in the Grazierville Methodist Episcopal church. Interment in Charlottesville cemetery.
