Well-Known Citizen Died On Friday Evening
 
  Alonza E. Miller, for many years a respected citizen of Tyrone, a 
cigar maker by occupation, died at his home on West 11th Street near 
Pennsylvania Avenue, Tyrone, Pa., on Friday evening at seven o'clock of 
infirmities due to a complication of diseases.  He was the son of 
William and Eleanor Miller and was born December 29, 1871.  He leaves a 
wife and six children as follows: C. E., John and Mrs. Earl McCahan, of 
Tyrone, Pa.; Harry S., of Lock Haven; Mrs. Samuel Beegle of St. 
Petersburg, Florida; Fred of Johnsonburg; also 38 grandchildren and 
seventeen great-grandchildren.  Mr. Miller was a member of the 
Presbyterian Church.  His body has been taken to the home of his son, 
C. E. Miller,  at 1064 Washington Avenue.  Funeral services will be 
held at the home of C. E. Miller, 1064, Washington Avenue on Monday 
afternoon.  Interment at Grampion.
