He was born in this city on Sept. 19, 1898, the son of William D. and Margaret May Miller. He was employed in the office of the superintendent of freight transfer of the Pennsy at Pittsburgh. He was formerly employed at RV tower at Juniata as a clerk. He is survived by his parents and two brothers, Harry K. and W. Yocum, both of this city. He was a member of the Fairview Methodist church and of the Railroad Relief. Altoona Mirror, Friday, January 21, 1921
