Mrs. Catharine Miller, widow of Leander Miller, and formerly of this city, died Saturday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Annie, Mellor, in Greensburg. She was born in Antis township, this county, and was aged about 55 years. Her maiden name was McFarland. She was wedded to Mr. Miller in 1863. After his death, many years ago, she made her home with relatives. Last February she went to Greensburg to live with her daughter. Besides her daughter, she leaves one son, E. F. Miller, of Pittsburg, and one sister, Mrs. G. W. Buck, of Altoona, and one brother, William G. McFarland, of Antis township. She was a member of the Memorial Baptist church. The remains were brought here yesterday on day express and interred by Hickey & O'Neill in Fairview cemetery. Altoona Times, Monday, July 20, 1903
