MILLER

  Miss Catherine Miller, aged 53, a trained nursed of Philadelphia, 
died at the Altoona hospital at 2.40 o'clock yesterday afternoon of 
heart disease.  She was a graduate of the Woman's hospital, 
Philadelphia, and was born in Oriental, Juniata county.  The remains 
will be shipped to Millerstown this morning, where services will be 
held and burial will be made at Middleburg.  Two brothers, Adam, of 
Kansas City, Mo., and Samuel, vice president of the Chase National 
bank, New York, survive, as do the following sisters: Mrs. Fietta 
Witmer, Port Treverton, Pa.; Mrs. Harry Young, Florin, Pa.; Mrs. John 
Rhodes, Millerstown; Mrs. Alice Arbegast, Millersburg.  Three nieces 
and one nephew, Mrs. S. C. Esterline, Mrs. L. Roy Baker, Miss Mable 
Ulrich and Albert Shell, of this city, survive.
