(Bonsell) Miller of 602 N. 8th Street, Bellwood died Friday, Oct. 29, 2004 at the Altoona Hospital after a 35-year illness of Hodgkin's disease and pulmonary lung disease. She was born Nov. 24, 1948 in Tyrone, daughter of Marian Bonsell. She was raised by stepfather Richard Nagle and her mother. She married David E. Miller on Dec. 27, 1969 in Tyrone. Mrs. Miller was a member of the Church of The Brethren of Bellwood. She was a 1966 graduate of Bellwood-Antis High School. She loved her grandchildren, her cats, crocheting, knitting and photography. She spent many of her childhood days in Decker Hollow at the home of her grandparents, Mrs. and Mrs. Arthur Bonsell in Tyrone. Surviving is her husband, two children: Richard B. Bonsell and wife Tina of Altoona, Dana R. Miller of California, four grandchildren: Amanda, Richard and Krista Bonsell, Stephan Wyland and a step-grandson, James Long. She is also survived by her sister, Phyllis Nimitz of Bellwood and a special aunt, Sharon Miller of Thomastown and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by a daughter, April Claire Miller on May 8, 1970. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tuesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Brush Mountain Road, Hollidaysburg. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday at the church by Bishop Kevin Galbraith. Interment at Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood. Arrangements are by the Daniel R. Myers Funeral Home.
