He had been in failing health for some time. He was a son of John and Mary (Chilcote) Miller and was born at Orbisonia, Huntingdon county, on Aug. 15, 1857. He was united in marriage with Mary Jane Quarry in Huntingdon on Jan. 20, 1880. She died on Sept. 29, 1930. Surviving are the following children: Oliver, Herbert and Dora Miller, all at home, John of Duncansville, Ray and Ernest of Williamsburg, R.D., Clyde of Mapleton, George M. of Corning, N.Y., and Mrs. Ella Knepp of Danville; thirty-two grandchildren and twelve great- grandchildren. Mr. Miller was a member of the Church of the Brethren all his life and since residing in Duncansville was affiliated with the Carson Valley church. MILLER - Funeral services for Dorsey Miller of Duncansville will be conducted at the Carson Valley Church of the Brethren Wednesday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock. Interment will be made in the Shelleytown cemetery at Shelleytown. The body may be viewed at the Bechtel funeral home in Williamsburg until Tuesday morning, after which friends will be received at the home in Duncansville. Altoona Mirror, August 29, 1938
