A number of years ago Mr. Miller suffered a serious illness from rheumatism, which left his heart in a weakened condition. During January of this year he was again afflicted with a siege and his latest illness covered but a week. He was married at Philadelphia, Pa., on August 15, 1917, to Miss Leona Alice Merryman, who survives. He also leaves his parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. Woods Miller, one brother, William Black Miller and one sister, Susan. For a number of years past he had been employed by the Blair County Banking company here, and was a most capable and trustworthy employe and his familiar figure, cheery smile and courteous manner will be greatly missed by the patrons of that institution. He was a member of Tyrone Lodge No. 494 Free and Accepted Masons, of the Williamsport Consistory, also the Allegheny Gateway lodge No. 187, Independent Order of Odd Fellows. He was an earnest member of the First Presbyterian church of this place. Funeral services will be held from the home of his parents on East Eleventh street Friday afternoon at 3.30 o'clock in charge of his pastor, Rev. H. W. Bieber. Interment in Grand View cemetery.
