The deceased was the daughter of Calvin and Rebecca Snare, was born in Huntingdon county and at the time of death was in the 30th year of her life. For many years the family had lived near Cove Forge and the deceased very early in life professed conversion and connected herself with the Methodist Episcopal church at Cove Forge and from that church was transferred to Williamsburg by certificate. While living in Williamsburg she became well and favorably known and was a kind and affectionate wife and thoughtful mother to the little children so suddenly bereft of a mother's love and cheer and guidance. A husband, five children, her mother, two brothers and four sisters survive to mourn the death of one that will be sadly missed in the home circles of both families. Her remains were taken to the Methodist Episcopal church yesterday afternoon where an appropriate service was conducted by Rev. C. C. Snavely, pastor of the church of which she was a member. At the close of the her remains were taken to the Presbyterian cemetery for interment. The families so suddenly called upon to mourn on account of this death have the sincere sympathy of the community. 1903 clipping Contributor's note: Florence and Earnest had a son Leland who married Ethyl Parks.
