Miller, Altoona RD 3, Box 473, died Tuesday at 8:10 a.m. in Tyrone Hospital. He had been in ill health the past three years. He was born Dec. 18, 1922 at Tyrone, a son of Fred A. and Ada Mae Burns. He was married June 25, 1954 in Sinking Valley Presbyterian Church to Martha Gingerich. He was a lifelong resident of the area. Surviving are the mother, his wife, and the following brothers and sisters: Carl E.*, Charles B., Miss Betty Miller, Tyrone and Mrs. Martha Smith, Middletown. He was of the Brethren faith. He had been employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad Co., retiring in 1961. He was a veteran of World War II. He will be buried with full military honors. Funeral service will be held Friday at 2:30, at the Feller Memorial Funeral Home, in charge of the Rev. Raymond Lucas. Burial will be in Blair Memorial Park. Friends will be received at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Friday until time of service.
