Miller died at 10:20 o'clock last night of cancer of the stomach, after an illness of three months, at his residence, 2420 Broad avenue. He was born at Jacksonville, Indiana county, July 19, 1858, and was employed as a freight conductor by the Pennsylvania Railroad company for thirty-five years. His wife died twenty-three years ago. He was a Presbyterian by faith and a member of the Loyal Order of Moose and the Relief association. He is survived by one son, John A., and one daughter, Margaret A., both of Altoona; one brother, J. D. Miller, of Avonmore, and two sisters, Mrs. E. A. Miller, of Lebanon, and Mrs. Tressa Lynn, of Indiana. The funeral announcement will be made later.
