Miller, well-known Snyder Township citizen and a resident of Ironsville, died at the home of his son, Harry W. Miller, Grazierville, on Saturday afternoon at 12:50 o'clock. Mr. Miller had been ill for six weeks. Mr. Miller was a son of Joseph and Kathryn Kline Miller and was born at Springfield Furnace, Blair county, on January 7, 1871. He was twice married. His second wife was Miss Edith Leeper to whom he was married on May 24, 1898, at Williamsburg, Pa. He is survived by one son to his first wife, John W. Miller, Ironsville, and three children to the second wife, Harry W. Miller, Grazierville; Mrs. Bessie Smith, Tyrone, and George W. Miller of Ironsville, also 14 grandchildren. He is also survived by these brothers and sisters: John K. Miller, Sandy Ridge; James Miller, Boswell; P. K. Miller, Lorraine, Ohio; Mrs. Elizabeth Householder, Tyrone; Mrs. Rebecca Richardson, Portage; Mrs. Kathryn Christopher, Turtle Creek. He was a member of the Free Methodist church. During the greater part of his life, Mr. Miller followed the occupation of a lumberman. Funeral services will be held in the Free Methodist church, Tyrone, on Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Inez Hill, followed by burial in Grandview cemetery.
