The young man had been visiting here at the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerre Miller, and left this morning about 7 o'clock with the May bread truck in charge of J. E. Furry. Information as to the accident at this time is indefinite, but we are told the May truck was struck by the mail truck which was on its way from the southern end of the Cove to Roaring Spring. The accident occurred where the Martinsburg road joins the Woodbury pike. Miller was seriously injured and was taken to the hospital by Mr. Auldie Logue, where he died as above stated. He was aged nearly 16 years. Mr. Furry we believe was uninjured. Martinsburg Herald, Handwritten date of August 6, 1920
