Things Briefly Told.

  Mrs. Jane Etter Miller died at the Mines Friday last, after a 
protracted illness and much suffering.  She was an estimable lady.  Her 
age was 23 years and 4 months.  She leaves three small children to 
mourn their loss.  Her funeral took place on Sunday, the remains being 
interred in Mountain cemetery at Springfield Furnace.  Rev. W. E. 
Dunmire preached a very impressive sermon on the occasion from John, v, 
28-29.
