Miller, wife of Nevin N. Miller, died at 4:15 o'clock this morning at her home at 915 Jefferson avenue, after only a few hours serious illness. Not in vigorous health for some years, Mrs. Miller had still found pleasure and activity in preparation for this holiday season until early yesterday evening when she was stricken with a cerebral hemorrhage and before morning quietly slept away. Margaret Rumberger Miller was the daughter of Captain O. S. and Elvira Rider Rumberger. She was born in Warriors Mark and lived there until her marriage there on Christmas day in 1907, to Nevin N. Miller. After living for two years in Martinsburg, Mr. and Mrs. Miller moved to Tyrone on November 1, 1909, and since that time, have resided here. Mrs. Miller is survived by her husband; by one son, Kenneth N. Miller; two sisters, Mrs. Zula Lehman of Warriors Mark; and Mrs. Ada Wills of State College; and a brother, G. E. Rumberger of Warrior's Mark. Active in church work since childhood, Mrs. Miller was a member of the First Methodist church of Tyrone and of the Hannah Houston Bible class and the Home and Foreign Missionary societies of that church. Interested in worthwhile community activities, sympathetic and friendly to all those whom she knew, devoted and thoughtful in her home, she was one whose sincerity and sweetness of character will long outlive her own days. Funeral services will be held at the home at 1:30 o'clock on Thursday afternoon, in charge of Rev. J. Resler Shultz. Interment will be made in Eastlawn Cemetery.
