MARIE M. MILLER

Of 7714 Garrison Road, Hyattsville, Md., formerly of Altoona, died at 9:05 
p.m. Thursday, Dec. 29, 1977, in the Hillview Nursing Home, after an extended 
illness.  She was born Oct. 15, 1898, in Lilly a daughter of Silas and 
Elizabeth (Lane) McIntosh, and twice married, first to W. Harold Leap, who 
died in 1949, and then to Leo A. Miller.  Surviving are her husband, three 
children, Jerome II, and Mrs. Margaret Kropfl of Altoona and Charles J. of 
Denver, Colo.; two stepsons, John R. Miller of Silver Spring, Md., and 
Kenneth Miller of Boonsboro, Md.; 11 grandchildren, and eight great-
grandchildren.  Mrs. Miller attended St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and was 
a member of the LCBA.  Friends will be received in Stevens Mortuary from 2 to 
4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
