Miller, of 606 Thirteenth street, died at 4:50 yesterday afternoon, after fourteen months' illness with a complication of diseases. The maiden name of the deceased was Mary Ellen Vaughn, and she was aged 67 years, 14 months and 2 days, and had been born in Newry. She was twice married. Her first husband was Levi Reffner, of Hollidaysburg, and to this union one child was born, Orlando Reffner, of this city. On April 11, 1872, she was united in marriage, in this city, to David H. Miller, who survives, with two children - Maude, wife of Assistant Engineer George McFalls, and Miss May Miller, at home. Two brothers and two sisters are living - William Vaughn, Mrs. Sarah J. Conrad and Mrs. Rachel Allen, of Altoona, and James A. Vaughn, of Millville. She leaves two stepsons - Ira Miller, of Altoona, and Elmer Miller, of Lewistown. Eight grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren also are living. Deceased was a member of Grace Lutheran church and of Circle No. 8, Ladies of the Grand Army of the Republic.
