MARY JANE MILLER, A resident of Antis township, died Sunday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. S. J. Long of 413 Fifth avenue, Juniata, of diseases incident to old age. She was aged 87 years, 2 months and 7 days and spent a great part of her life in Blair county. She was a life-long member of the United Brethren church at Bellwood. Surviving are the following children: James A., Harry B., Robert, and Mrs. Clara Estep, of Bellwood; Edward J., Mrs. S. J. Long and Mrs. J. W. Hutchison of Juniata. She is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Robert Sneath of Nebraska. Private services over the remains of Mrs. Mary J. Miller, whose death was published in the Tribune yesterday morning, will be held in the home of Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Long, 413 Tenth avenue, Juniata, at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow. The remains will then be taken to Bellwood, where the funeral service will occur publicly in the United Brethren church. The deceased, best known for many years as Grandmother Miller, was a beautiful Christian character in a long and exemplary life and her sweet memory remains with many, many friends who felt the loving touch of her gentle ministry. With the children and sister mentioned as surviving deceased leaves fifty-eight grandchildren and sixty-two great-grandchildren. She was born at McConnellstown in 1832.
