MRS. RACHAEL MILLER

Of 1007 Twenty-second avenue, widow of Elias Miller, died at her home 
at 4:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon of pneumonia.  She was born at 
Sarah Furnace on Feb. 19, 1855, a daughter of John and Margaret 
(Huston) Gates, and on Nov. 2, 1886, married Elias Miller at Bedford.  
Mrs. Miller had resided in the Eleventh ward of the city since 1887.  
Mr. Miller died thirteen years ago.  Surviving are three daughters and 
two sons, Mrs. Margaret Cassidy, Miss Martha V. Miller, John A. and 
Mrs. Mareta McCracken, all of the city, and Charles W. Miller of 
Cleveland, O.; five grandchildren, one brother and one sister, J. E. 
Gates and Mrs. Mary Ann Brumbaugh, also of the city.  Mrs. Miller was a 
member of the First Methodist church.  The funeral will be held on 
Saturday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock with services at the home in charge 
of Rev. W. Edward Watkins.  Interment will be made in Rose Hill 
cemetery.
