SARAH SHOENFELT MILLER Died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Gustave Altman, 527 Orchard street, Bellwood, on Saturday, Dec. 23. She was a daughter of Joseph M. and Mary [Nancy - ed.] (Keagy) Shoenfelt and was born at Martinsburg on April 9, 1856. Surviving are three sons and three daughters, Seward Miller of Duncannon, Walter G. Miller of Kane, J. Earl Miller of Huntingdon, Mrs. John Spackman of Greensburg, Mrs. Paul Meloy of Huntingdon and Mrs. Gustave Altman, at whose home she died. Also surviving are one sister and two brothers, Miss Mary Shoenfelt of Hollidaysburg, David R. Shoenfelt of East Liverpool, O., and Ira K. Shoenfelt of Lock Haven. Interment was made in the Seven Stars cemetery. Altoona Mirror, December 29, 1939 ______________ MRS. SARAH K. MILLER Mrs. Sarah K. Miller, of Huntingdon, formerly of Spruce Creek, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Iva Altman, of Bellwood, on Saturday, December 23, 1939, at 11:00 p.m. Mrs. Miller had made her home in Huntingdon for the past twelve years with her daughter, Mrs. Paul W. Meloy, of 621 Moore street. She was born April 9, 1856, at Martinsburg, a daughter of Joseph Shoenfelt and Nancy Keagy Shoenfelt. Her husband, David M. Miller, preceded her in death twenty-seven years ago. Surviving are these sons, Seward Miller, of Duncannon, Guy Miller, of Kane, Carl Miller, of Huntingdon, and three daughters, Mrs. Bessie M. Spalkman, of Greensburg, Mrs. Iva Altman, of Bellwood, and Mrs. Mary Meloy, of Huntingdon. Two brothers, Ira Shoenfelt, of Lock Haven, David Shoenfelt, of East Liverpool, Ohio, one sister, Miss Mary Shoenfelt, of Hollidaysburg, and thirteen grandchildren also survive. Mrs. Miller was a member of the First Presbyterian church, Huntingdon. Funeral services were held this morning, December 26, at 10:00 o'clock in the Fuoss mortuary chapel at Bellwood.
