Miller of 514 Eleventh street, died in the waiting room of the Pennsy passenger station yesterday morning shortly after 7 o'clock. Mrs. Miller has not been in good health for two years but was able to be up and about. Yesterday morning she went to the passenger station to take the 7:15 train, in company with her cousin, Mrs. Charles E. Stoner of 2117 third avenue, to go to Port Matilda to attend the funeral of an uncle, Alvin Price, during the afternoon. Both of the ladies entered the crowds filing through the gates to the train, but became separated and when Mrs. Stoner got on the train, she glanced out the car window and saw Mrs. Miller holding to the fence and motioning for her to come to her. When she reached her side, Mrs. Miller said that she was short of breath and needed the attention of a doctor and then collapsed into Mrs. Stoner's arms. With the aid of several men, she was carried to the ladies' waiting room, a physician and her husband were notified, but she passed away eight minutes after being carried from the train shed. The body was then taken to the funeral parlors of Undertaker Gilden and doctors gave the cause of her death as a combination of diabetes and general complications of diseases resulting from her ill health during the past two years. Mrs. Miller was the wife of Sanford D. Miller, who is employed by William F. Gable & Co., and was born near Port Matilda on Sept. 14, 1880. She lived in Tyrone for a number of years and came to this city about thirteen years ago, soon after her marriage. She is survived by her husband and one daughter, Irene at home; her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. George R. Price, and one sister, Mrs. Leona Cowher, all of Port Matilda. Funeral services this evening at 7.30 o'clock, at the home 514 Eleventh street in charge of Rev. W. F. Kosman pastor, of the Trinity Reformed church. On Thursday morning the body will be taken to Port Matilda, where burial will be made on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Altoona Times, Wednesday Morning, October 2, 1918
