WILLIAM HEASTER MILLER, SR.

  Mr. Miller, 65, of Box 164, RD 4, died Tuesday, August 13, 1991, at his 
residence.  Mr. Miller retired as a custodian from Penn State Altoona Campus 
in June 1988.
  He was born April 4, 1926, in Mines, Woodbury Township, the son of Olive 
Miller and March 4, 1946, in Cumberland married Geraldine Helen McCartney.
  Surviving are his wife, five children:  Edna Little, Margaret Nesslein and 
Frederick of Altoona, Patricia Whitsel of Hollidaysburg and William Jr. of 
Alamogordo, N.M.;  14 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  Mr. Miller 
was a member of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ.  Friends will be received 
Thursday at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Juniata.  Services will be conducted by 
Rev. Joseph Keeffer.  Interment in Grandview Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, 
contributions may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society.
