Tyrone Herald, Tyrone, Pa., Thursday, July 14, 1914 William Luther Miller The sad change that can come to a home, and into the lives of a home circle is seen in the passing away of William Luther Miller, who suddenly died of heart failure, at the family home, in Bald Eagle valley, July 8 at 6 o'clock in the evening. The deceased was the son of Alexander and Elizabeth Miller, deceased. His early life was spent near Tyrone. In 1884 he came to Bald Eagle valley, where he has since resided. He possessed an exceedingly sociable disposition, and it can be truthfully said of him that he was the friend of every creature. Nothing but kindness and good will found a place in his heart. Always helpful, always thinking of others, always unselfish, he lived a life which may well be taken as an example of brotherly kindness. The many homes in which he was a frequent visitor will miss his genial smile and tender sympathy. But it is in his own home where he so faithfully ministered to an invalid brother and to other members of the household that he shall be most sadly missed. Surviving the deceased are the following brothers and sister: Alexander Miller, of Sinking Valley; Henry K. Miller, Thos. H. and Miss Bella, at the family home. Funeral services, at the home, were held at two o'clock Friday afternoon, conducted by Rev. W. Cook, of the M. E. church of the Port Matilda charge.
