JOANNA LOUISE MINEMIER Mrs. Joanna Louise Minemier, widow of George W. Minemier, died at the home of her son, Nicholas L. Minemier, 203 West Eleventh street last evening at 7:45 o'clock, following a brief illness with coronary thrombosis. Mrs. Minemier was a daughter of Louis and Esther Ann Updike and was born at Barree, Huntingdon county, on October 9, 1858. In September 1874, she was united in marriage with George W. Minemier, of Warriors Mark. Mrs. Minemier had been a resident of Tyrone for 25 years. She is survived by one son, Nicholic [sic] L. Minemier, at whose home she died, and four grandchildren, Gilbert, George, Helen and Mary Minemier, all of Tyrone. She was a member of the First Methodist Episcopal church, and Class No. 22, of the Sunday school. Funeral services will be held at the Minemier home on West Eleventh street, on Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, conducted by Rev. J. Resler Shultz, pastor of the First Methodist Episcopal church, followed by burial in the cemetery at Franklinville, Huntingdon county. Tyrone Daily Herald, Tyrone, Pa., December 23, 1935
