MITCHELL Of 3905 Fourth avenue, died at her home at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon after a short illness. She was born in Carson valley on March 10, 1867, a daughter of Peter and Sarah Stiffler. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Paul McKelvey, Mrs. Charles Lear and Mrs. Elwood Warner, all of the city; eleven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, five sisters and one brother, Miss Mary Stiffler, Mrs. Margaret Clapper, Mrs. A. B. Piper, Mrs. Elizabeth Ayres, Mrs. Frank Stiffler and David Stiffler, all of the city. Mrs. Mitchell was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church and of the Fraternal Mystic circle. The body may be viewed at the Stevens mortuary where funeral services will be held in the memorial chapel at 2.30 o'clock Friday afternoon. Interment will be made in Carson Valley cemetery.
